
Amazon is roasting users with their own shopping habits, but it don't have nothin' on us
If you've got an Amazon account, then you likely already realise Steve Bezos' corporate empire is hoovering up your data so it can better sell to you. What's surprising is when Amazon actually offers a peek behind that vast curtain of data, revealing what it's learnt about you and potentially reading you for filth in the process.
Amazon's 'About You' feature rolled out back in May. It gained more attention this week after one Threads user's viral post appeared to show that, based on her 'Product Preferences,' Amazon thought she had "flat buttocks." They weren't the only ones left "literally speechless," as another user shared that Amazon had noted they do " not trust people easily." A Reddit user posted that Amazon had noted they apparently get " a tired gray cast from lack of sleep ".
