
I spent an unreasonable amount of time testing whether Logitech's Superstrike analogue clicks actually make me react quicker

I had about the same reaction time with both mice, regardless of the level of actuation I set the X3 Superstrike to.
The Logitech G Pro X3 Superstrike (and the X2 Superstrike) promises a reduction in latency between deciding to click and actually clicking, because you can reduce the button-press distance thanks to the analogue switches. Which is great on paper, but I wanted to see just how much of a difference it makes in practice.
I used the X2 Superstrike for a while after it came out, and I felt a difference while playing Counter-Strike, but it was difficult to know how much of that was placebo. So, now the X3 is out, I thought I'd actually test the difference compared to a mouse with regular clicks.
