Samuel L. Jackson Confirms Nick Fury Will Return in Avengers: Secret Wars

Samuel L. Jackson has confirmed that we won’t be seeing Nick Fury in Avengers: Doomsday, but said that his character is set to return in Avengers: Secret Wars.

Jackson revealed this information in a red carpet interview with The Direct ahead of the premier for The Beast, his newest film. After The Direct’s interviewer noted that Nick Fury hasn’t been spotted in a Marvel movie for some time, Jackson said that he will be in the next film after Doomsday — which, according to the current slate laid out by Marvel Studios, is Avengers: Secret Wars.

He didn’t elaborate on what we can expect from Fury’s appearance in this movie, saying that Marvel only told him that he’d be in it and nothing more.

"Next movie... [The] movie after this one,” he told the outlet. “I have no idea. [Marvel] hasn't told me anything, other than, 'You're not gonna be in this movie. You'll be in the next.'"
