Microsoft is testing a new Mobile devices tile in Windows 11 Quick Settings that lets you control a linked phone without opening Phone Link.
The tile can let Android users toggle Do Not Disturb, adjust the phone’s volume, or make it play a sound when misplaced.
The feature is still hidden in experimental Windows 11 builds, and iPhones may also get the same controls.
Apple’s biggest ecosystem advantage has never been one killer device. It’s what happens when you put several of them on the same desk.
