It’s time to update your Galaxy S24 again, but don’t get too excited just yet

TL;DR Samsung is rolling out the September 2026 security patch for the Galaxy S24 series and Galaxy S24 FE.

The update fixes 90 security issues but does not include the stable version of One UI 9.0 based on Android 17.

The update is around 450MB for the Galaxy S24, S24 Plus, and S24 Ultra, and 438MB for the S24 FE.

Samsung is rolling out a new software update to the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, Galaxy S24 Ultra, and Galaxy S24 FE globally. Unfortunately, if you’ve been waiting for stable One UI 9 on these devices, you’re still out of luck.
