Googlebooks have unlockable bootloader support, and there’s also good news for Magisk

TL;DR Google has confirmed via an official support document that its new Googlebook laptops will feature unlockable bootloaders. The steps appear to be quite simple, almost Pixel-like.

Magisk creator John Wu also announced that Magisk is coming to Googlebooks, with dedicated code and instructions releasing soon. This presumably opens the gate for easy root access.

Unlocking the bootloader will allow for deep system modifications, performance tuning, ad blocking, and more, giving the Googlebook OS platform a competitive edge for power users.
