Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 ends with something almost surprising for this franchise: some characters looking forward to tomorrow. Without spoiling too much, the season 2 finale delivers plenty of devastating TV moments, like season 1, but several of its central characters survive with relationships worth holding onto and lives they still want to live. Naturally, that makes another more direct follow-up that much more enticing.
