Forza Horizon 6 For PS5 Apparently Delayed To 2027, And It’s Getting A Disc Release

Just a month after Microsoft said Forza Horizon 6 for PlayStation 5 remained on track to release in 2026, a new report says the game has in fact been delayed to 2027.

Reputable leaker billbil-kun said Forza Horizon 6 for PS5 is set for release on January 26, 2027. The report said there will be a physical disc edition at retail, and the game will also be sold digitally.

In September, Microsoft said in a blog post that the PS5 edition of the popular racing game was due for release in 2026, but plans have seemingly changed. Officially, however, Microsoft has yet to communicate any update to the game's PS5 release date.

Forza Horizon 6 was released in May this year for Xbox Series X|S and PC. The game, which is set in Japan, scored rave reviews, including an 8/10 from GameSpot, and PlayStation fans have had to wait for their turn to play.
