Modern Warships Dev Causes Actual Art Storm After Plagiarizing Ship Design

Artstorm, developer of PvP naval warfare game Modern Warships, has admitted to using an independent artist’s creation as the basis for one of its ship designs. The plagiarism came to light yesterday when concept artist Alex Jay Brady posted the similarities between their creation and the ship model in-game.

Brady’s art, a design for an atomic ekranoplan carrier vessel, was shown side-by-side against the in-game model in Modern Warships, called the RF Bartini A-2000-7. Even a casual onlooker could see the similarities.

I did not give @ModernWarships permission to use my ekrano design, but I have to say she's looking great. Much more detailed than my sketches. Honestly if they'd just asked and sent me some $$$$ Id have had zero issue with them using it.

Its not to late to do the right thing guys https://t.co/E2K7z3rE9i
