In my quest to find the perfect mouse for me, I've ended up with two completely different ones

The odd thing about computer mice—gaming, ergonomic, or otherwise—is how subjective they are. I guess we've all got different hand shapes, finger lengths, and technical needs. I've been hunting for the perfect mouse for my particular hands for years now, and I've refined my selection down to two.

Unfortunately, they couldn't be more different, so I guess I'm a two-mouse sort of guy now. One is the Logitech MX Master 4, an ergonomic mouse with a poor sensor for gaming, but an excellent shape for all-day work usage. It's also near-silent, which the rest of my household is very grateful for.

And the other is the Razer Cobra HyperSpeed, a tiny rodent with exactly the sort of weight and technical specs I like for gaming, all for a relatively reasonable sum. Looking at the two together, they're completely chalk and cheese. …
