Android 17 QPR2 Beta 6.1 is here to make up for last week’s Pixel 11 oversight

Google released Android 17 QPR2 Beta 6 last Thursday.

Builds were available for Pixel 6a through Pixel 10 models, but no Pixel 11 devices at the time.

Today we see Android 17 QPR2 Beta 6.1 drop, now supporting the full Pixel 11 range.

Being an early adopter can be a mixed bag. Sure, we all love being first in line to try out the latest tech, and sometimes that also means getting first dibs on new software designed to take advantage of it. But occasionally there’s a flip side to that, and while devs already know what to expect from older hardware, targeting the newest devices can introduce some unwelcome delays. Pixel 11 owners know exactly what we’re talking about, after getting left out from Android 17 QPR2 Beta 6 last week. Thankfully, they didn’t have to wait too long.
