The next OnePlus phone has a fan to cool your phone and hands
TL;DR OnePlus teased the Ace 7 series in China, featuring an industry-first dual-channel active cooling fan system and miniaturized tower fins, designed to lower sustained gaming temperatures by up to 10°C.
According to leaks from Digital Chat Station, both models feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K 185Hz display and a 200MP camera, with the Ace 7 packing a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5V and the Ace 7 Pro running the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 alongside a 50MP periscope lens.
The OnePlus Ace 7 series officially launches in China on October 29, though a global release is unlikely given OnePlus’s exit from the US and Europe.
More and more Android flagships are adopting built-in cooling fans. HONOR just launched the Win 2 series with top-tier flagship SoCs, all equipped with active cooling fans, and now OnePlus has announced it will also join the active-cooling-fan party with the upcoming OnePlus Ace 7 series, which launches in China next week.
