GTA 6 Survey Reveals People Really Want GTA Online, But It Hasn’t Been Confirmed Yet

Grand Theft Auto 6 releases on November 19, and a lot of people are very excited to play some kind of online mode, according to a new study. The only problem is that GTA 6 is a strictly single-player game and has no online mode, at least not one that Rockstar has talked about yet.

Research firm Piper Sandler recently polled 9,000 teenagers, with 90% saying they intend to play GTA Online. It would be shocking if GTA 6 doesn't eventually have an online mode, but the company has not said anything about that.

Product listings for GTA 6 at retailers make it clear that the game is a "single-player experience," so it's not something Rockstar is trying to be coy about.

The poll also found that 40% of respondents said they planned to make additional in-game purchases.

Additionally, the survey found that 70% of respondents who own a PS5 or Xbox Series X|S plan to buy GTA 6. …
