
A Live-Action Cyberpunk 2077 Movie Is in the Works at Paramount
Paramount Pictures is developing a live-action Cyberpunk 2077 film.
Deadline has reported that the film will be produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura, who is best known for producing the Transformers and GI Joe films. CD Projekt Red is also onboard to produce, though there is no word on any actors, writers, or directors attached to the project. It's unclear if it will faithfully adapt the titular video game from 2020, or if this will be another story set in the Cyberpunk universe, similar to Netflix's animated Edgerunners series.
If this is a straight up adaptation, Paramount already has some built-in starpower that it can utilize. In the game, Keanu Reeves played Johnny Silverhand, a radical Tyler Durden-style character that lives in the protagonist's head. …
