
Fast & Furious TV Show Greenlit at Peacock, With Vin Diesel as Executive Producer
The Fast & Furious films are getting their own television series, with none other than Vin Diesel himself serving as executive producer.
As reported by Deadline on October 1, 2026, Peacock has officially given the green light for a Fast & Furious show. The series is slated to premier in 2028, the same year that the very last movie in the franchise is also set to release.
Vin Diesel first mentioned the show in May 2026 during a talk at NBCUniversal’s Upfront event, where he explained that fan demand drove Universal Pictures to consider expanding its high-octane IP.
“As you all know, we are very precious about these movies but over the last decade, we’ve realized that the fans have wanted more, they wanted us to expand the legacy characters, their stories,” he said at the event. “And for the last decade, the desire has been for us to enter the TV space.”
