The PlayStation 5 has undergone two major price hikes while the Xbox Series X has jumped in price three times in a single year. The AI-driven VRAM crisis at the heart of the issue is expected to worsen. Given the supply constraints, Sony has limited options for selling PS5s at prices customers might find acceptable.
